Prayer February 2017
“The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:22-23 (ESV)
We are continually aware of the Lord’s steadfast love and faithfulness to us here in IBI. We have much to be thankful for and we praise God that his mercies never come to an end.
As we are now well into the second half of this academic year, we would ask you to join with us in prayer as we thank God for all he has done this year and commit our requests to him for the months ahead.
Please pray for our students, most of whom are successfully keeping up with study and assignments whilst working, taking care of families, being actively involved in ministry and other activities. One or two are still struggling to keep up to date but we anticipate that all will make it through this year.
Would you pray particularly for our third year students as they complete their dissertations, along with final assignments? This will be a busy few months for them but the end is in sight and we look forward to hearing how the Lord has worked in their lives during the course of their time in IBI and their plans for applying all they have learned.
Fees are still an issue for a few of our students – please pray that the Lord will provide for them to be able to clear their accounts by the end of the year.
We thank God for the commitment and dedication of our students, some travelling long distances with early morning starts and not returning home until late. Please continue to pray for strength and energy to keep going.
IBI is blessed with a fantastic staff team, along with adjunct faculty, who are highly committed to the work of IBI and their role within the team. Praise God for his provision.
One of our office units is still unoccupied. The funds from the rental of this unit go a long way to covering costs here at IBI. We have also had unexpected problems with the air-conditioning unit which has meant an unbudgeted expense of around €10,000. We would therefore really appreciate your prayers for God’s wisdom in managing all that.
