Flexibility

student-life-2

You can choose a flexible mode of study most convenient to your personal and professional schedule.

We know that life can be demanding and time is not always in abundance! That is why our courses remain as flexible as possible. Our BA courses are condensed to two full days of classes so the remaining three days can be spent in private study either at IBI’s library or at home. Our MA courses are taught in ‘block weeks’. We provide part-time options for all our courses as well as evening, modular and online courses to suit a range of schedules.

“I’d been considering further study for some time but hadn’t found anything that really excited me. The modules of the MA course were structured in a way that suited: a block of five days’ teaching twice or three times a year, rather than the same day every week which I find can be difficult to fit in with other commitments.”

Rosemary Lindsay, minister

“I started with a single module because I was interested in pastoral care but as a full-time mum, I didn’t have much time to devote to study. I was hooked! I am now doing the Certificate in Applied Theology part-time to fit around my family commitments. I have really appreciated the flexibility of the programme and IBI’s willingness to accommodate my schedule.”
